June 2009 – FutureWork Systems, provider of information technology solutions and service in support of US Department of Labor initiatives, has released a new decision support application service in response to the new quarterly Workforce Investment Act (WIA) data submission and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) reporting requirements issued by the US Department of Labor. The new decision support service called InSite is available to state workforce development agencies across the country to assist in managing performance under these new requirements.
InSite is a Web-based application service. This decision support service includes a unique, secure web application for data analysis and reporting of WIA quarterly data, including the ability to conduct ARRA data analysis.

It shows that more and more local areas and states are seeing the tremendous value that a decision support system can bring to the performance managment of workforce programs," says Geoff Smith of FutureWork Systems. "With the workforce system receiving a significant boost in funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the high demand for services from communities across the nation, it's clear that administrators want and need to keep close tabs on program performance. FutureWork's Launches InSite for CA Local Areas
December 2008 - FutureWork Systems recently launched InSite, a new special web-based performance management application specifically designed for the California local area analyst. The tool was built from the Performance Matters Plus technology, FutureWorks premier performance management tool and service, working in collaboration with the Alameda County Workforce Investment Board, with a special focus on the needs of the California local area analyst.
"Several of our clients in the past have been smaller California local workforce areas. These smaller areas usually have one analyst in charge of performance and we've discovered that they alone need access to a tool specifically designed for them," says Geoff Smith, VP of Sales and Marketing. "With shrinking budgets across the state, a statewide effort toward an integrated system, and an ever-increasing demand for services, it's critical that these small local areas are provided access to an affordable and effective performance management tool. They need to know what's happening within their workforce system. We're glad that InSite fills that need."
InSite is a secure web application unique to each subscribing local area and is available by subscription license for California local area analysts only. To learn more about InSite and how it can help California local areas, contact FutureWork Systems or view the InSite web page and flyer.

Newly Designed Wagner-Peyser, VETS and Trade Act modules in Performance Matters Plus for the states of New Jersey and Missouri.
October 2008 - FutureWork Systems recently rolled out redesigned Wagner-Peyser, VETS and Trade Act modules for the Performance Matters Plus decision support system. The re-design of the modules is a result of working closely with the State of New Jersey during the design and development process of their new, full system Performance Matters Plus application.
New Jersey recently awarded FutureWork Systems with a three-year contract to provide a full-system performance management system for WIA, Wagner-Peyser, VETS, Trade Act, TANF and a statewide dislocated worker program called Workfirst Dislocated Worker Program. This new system has been launched as phase one to over 60 end users across the state, including WIA, Wagner-Peyser and VETS administrators. The new modules have been well received by all program officials.
The State of Missouri is also taking advantage of the availability of these new performance management modules by upgrading their current WIA Performance Matters Plus application to a full-system implementation. Their upgraded full-system is slated to be fully operational in January '09 and will include WIA, Wagner-Peyser, VETS, and Trade Act performance data. Missouri has made excellent use of their existing WIA system, issuing over 90 passwords across the state making it a cornerstone tool to support their JobStat statewide performance management initiative.
