FutureWork's Client Recognized for Outstanding Performance
February 6, 2008 – The Ventura County Workforce Investment Board of California was recently recognized for a second year in row for exceeding performance measures under the Workforce Investment Act. Ventura County is just 1 of 4 of the 50 local areas within California to exceed all performance measures.
The FutureWork's team congratulates all workforce professionals in Ventura County for another successful year.

Over the past few months, interested workforce development professionals at state and local levels have requested an online tour of the Performance Matters Plus web application service directly off our website. In response to this request, we've posted four (4) brief online web tours that demonstrate how Performance Matters Plus helps you dig into your area's performance data to gain insight for informed program and policy decision making. These brief tours showcase just a sampling of what's possible in Performance Matters Plus, but they'll give you a good demonstration of this dynamic decision support system in action.

Unique WIRED Technical Assistance Solution Announced
August 27, 2007 – Maher & Maher, Economic Modeling Specialists Inc. (EMSI) and FutureWork Systems (FWS) today jointly announced Regional Workforce Intelligence SM a strategic technical assistance solution for regional planning based on WIRED principles. Drawing on the unique expertise of each partner, the Regional Workforce Intelligence SM solution builds regions through strong project management, expanded social networking, integrated economic and workforce analysis, and unique performance management tools.

Summer 2007 -- The Ventura County Human Services Agency of Ventura, California awarded a contract to FutureWork Systems for the development of a TANF Performance Matters Plus Web-based decision support system. This new Performance Matter Plus application will provide drill down analysis and performance reporting for Ventura County's TANF program.
"We're excited about this new project." says Tom Ryan, Sr., Partner and Chief Technology Officer with FutureWork Systems. "Ventura County has been utilizing our Performance Matters Plus system for managing WIA (Workforce Investment Act) performance since 2003, so we're pleased to see that other program areas are taking notice and becoming interested. The technology we utilize with Performance Matters Plus for WIA and Wagner-Peyser administrators naturally applies to TANF administrators. We're happy to be working with Ventura to bring our expertise and toolset to help their TANF program."
FutureWork Systems and Ventura County will be working closely during this development project and are anticipating an application launch in Winter of 2007.
Minnesota customizes Performance Matters Plus for State Dislocated Worker Programs
Summer 2007 -- The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development recently customized their Performance Matters Plus application, MN Performs, to include their Scorecard System for tracking and reporting Statewide Dislocated Worker programs. The system utilizes Performance Matters Plus' decision support framework and dashboard technology to provide detailed reports and ad-hoc reporting capabilities. "Minnesota is really leveraging the power of Performance Matters Plus," says Tom Ryan, Chief Technical Officer and Project Lead for MN Performs at FutureWork Systems. "They're utilizing our decision support tool exactly how it was designed...to take in multiple data sources, give efficient and easy access to it for management analysis so that they can build their organizational intelligence and continuously improve.
FutureWorks a part of DOL Task Order contract
Summer 2006 -- FutureWork Systems is one of two subcontractors on a U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Adminstration Task Order that was awarded to Maher and Maher, a change management consulting firm based in New Jersey. Maher and Maher was awarded the Task Order Contract that has a ceiling of $2 million per year and is
renewable each year for a maximum of five years. FutureWork Systems will be providing statistical analysis, technical assistance and research in performance management and related workforce issues.
