Performance Matters National is a Web-based decision support system for the analysis and reporting of national WIA performance data.

Each year, FutureWork Systems loads the national WIASRD file into the Performance Matters decision support data warehouse. Once loaded, users have the ability, using the Performance Matters National web application, to slice, dice and drill into WIA data down to the Workforce Investment Board level. Performance Matters National gives instant access to this huge data source, allowing users to conduct quick and easy analysis of characteristics, services and outcomes of all exiters under WIA.

National WIA data provides states and local areas with rich information about the workforce system within their state and across the country, allowing benchmarking and comparitative analysis of those served. This level of information can inform performance goal setting, as well as assist in setting ARRA baselines.

Performance Matters National is an application service...a subscription is all you need.

Subscribing users of Performance Matters National are provided a username and a password to access the Web application. This includes access to the national Dashboard Application which contains 4 interactive dashboards. The Dashboard Application is highly interactive and allows users to share dashboards with anyone outside of the Performance Matters National system.

FutureWork Systems owns and operates the IT infrasture and software for Performance Matters National, so there's no IT barriers. Users have access to over a dozen default reports; however, with the application's dynamic and ad-hoc reporting capabilities, the number of reports is entirely up to the user.

ARRA reports are available, providing a look at WIA data through the lens of ARRA monthly reports, including ARRA dashboards for PY 2007 and 2008 data. New data is refreshed within the system when available from USDOL.

Data currently available within the system is PY 2008. Users need only a Web brower and Internet connection to access the system.
